IMPORTANT NOTE: While the BOD program expired on 5/1/2017, this page is being kept active so Providers may access information related to any BOD services provided with dates of service prior to 5/1/2017. BOD claims with dates of service on or before April 30th, 2017 are payable in accordance with the terms of your existing provider agreement with Optum. All BOD visits May 1st, 2017 and thereafter are considered non-payable.
Bridge on Discharge
Bridge-on-Discharge (BOD) is a program in which facility-based clinical staff provide an outpatient follow-up session immediately following the discharge from the facility’s acute inpatient unit.
